Journeying to the future, we meet
the past. In the south of The Netherlands, in Heerlen-North,
Theo Evers has assembled a unique collection of historic
and antique treasures, on display in his 9,000-square-metre
Expo
Assembled there are myriad examples of historic building
materials, decorative interiors, garden and landscape design
- each unique in style and finish, and all imparting a nostalgic
view of the beauty which centuries of architecture have
bequeathed us.
In an ambience both varied and harmonious, the Expo invites
the visitor to enjoy a very special experience, to feel
the kaleidoscopic history of building gliding by.
Theo Evers' profession and passion have been inseparable
for 30 years. Throughout
this time he has endeavoured to rescue
precious historie building materials and
architectural treasures.

It's a particular challenge for him
to retain what still has value, and to integrate this into
the structures of today and tomorrow. This after all is
his calling: to create a connection between yesterday and
today, between old and new.
His aptitude as an antique scout
has brought about the realization of several projects across
the globe. These range from the challenge of remodelling
and decorating a romantic wedding chapel in Japan, to the
creation of sculptured gardens in the USA or the decoration
of hotel and restaurant interiors in Europe.
Theo Evers is an ideal partner for
architects and contractors searching for just the right
material. He has a professional knowledge of, and respect
for, the building materials of the past. |
